Hi, I’m Sarah Morrison, a certified play therapist. I am passionate about providing therapeutic services to promote the social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people including:
1:1 therapeutic play and play therapy (aged 3-13)
Group play therapy (aged 3-11)
Training to nursery settings, primary and secondary schools
My play and creative arts therapy room is based in Exmouth, Devon.
Play Therapy
I provide a creative, play-based space for children and young people to explore the difficult life experiences they have faced, process their emotions and develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves and their world in a meaningful and developmentally appropriate way.
Group Play Therapy
Working in your nursery setting or school, I offer play therapy with groups of children and young people, which can be a powerful intervention for growth and healing. I therapeutically guide interactions with peers, which improves emotional awareness, boosts confidence and develops prosocial skills.
Training
I offer whole school or small group staff training to adults working with children and young people who have experienced adversity. These training sessions can be tailored to your organisations individual needs, helping you to develop an attachment aware, trauma informed and therapeutic ethos.
